Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Khodz Academy ("Khodz Academy", "we", "us") provides technical training programmes, cohort-based bootcamps, and related educational content, delivered both online and in person. By creating an account, enrolling in a programme, or otherwise using khodz.academy (the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering, including your name, email, and phone number. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Programmes aimed at minors (e.g. our Kids & Teens Coding Camp) require a parent or guardian to register and accept these Terms on the student's behalf.

3. Admission, payment & access

• Enrollment is confirmed only once the applicable admission fee is paid in full.
• Where a programme is split into admission, tuition deposit, and balance payments, access to course content unlocks progressively as each payment is completed, as described on the payment and course pages at the time of purchase.
• All payments are processed by Paystack. We do not store your card, mobile money PIN, or other payment credentials — see our Privacy Policy for details.
• Pricing, cohort dates, and course content may be updated by Khodz Academy from time to time; changes will not retroactively alter what you were charged for an active enrollment.

4. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Share your account, course videos, slides, or other course materials outside the Platform or with non-enrolled individuals.
• Attempt to copy, resell, or redistribute Khodz Academy course content for commercial purposes.
• Use the Platform to harass, abuse, or harm other students, instructors, or staff.
• Attempt to circumvent payment, access, or security controls on the Platform.

Violation of these terms may result in suspension or termination of your account without refund.

6. Intellectual property

All course content — videos, slides, assignments, and curriculum design — remains the intellectual property of Khodz Academy. Enrollment grants you a personal, non-transferable license to access this content for your own learning while enrolled; it does not transfer ownership or grant reproduction/redistribution rights.

7. Certificates

Where a programme includes a certificate of completion, it is issued at Khodz Academy's discretion once the stated completion requirements (e.g. attendance, assignment submission, final project) are met.

8. Limitation of liability

The Platform and course content are provided "as is." Khodz Academy does not guarantee specific employment, salary, or career outcomes as a result of completing a programme. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Khodz Academy is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes affecting active students will be communicated by email.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana.
