Refund Policy

Last updated: September 1, 2026

1. Admission fee — non-refundable

The admission fee secures your seat in a cohort and covers processing, onboarding, and holding your place ahead of class start. It is non-refundable once paid, including if you later decide not to continue, regardless of whether you have started tuition payments or accessed course content.

2. Tuition deposit & balance

  • Before the cohort start date:if you cancel more than 7 days before your cohort's start date, any tuition deposit or balance paid (excluding the admission fee) is refundable, less a 5% processing fee.
  • Within 7 days of the cohort start date, or after it has started: tuition payments become non-refundable, reflecting the seat and instructor time already committed.
  • If you've completed and had access to more than 25% of the course content, tuition paid for that course is non-refundable regardless of the cohort start date.

3. Cancelled or rescheduled cohorts

If Khodz Academy cancels a cohort before it starts, or is unable to deliver a paid programme, you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid for that programme, or the option to transfer your payment to a future cohort — your choice.

4. How refunds are processed

Approved refunds are issued back to the original Paystack payment method used, typically within 7–14 business days of approval. To request a refund, email sales@khodz.academy with your full name, the course you enrolled in, and your payment reference (found on your payment receipt email).

5. Free trial / registration-only programmes

Programmes explicitly marketed as a free trial (e.g. our Web Development Foundation Bootcamp) charge only a small registration fee to filter serious applicants. That registration fee follows the same non-refundable admission-fee policy above.

6. Questions

This policy works alongside our Terms of Service. If your situation doesn't clearly fit one of the cases above, email us — we review case-by-case.
